Jolene was raised in Waconia, Minnesota. She graduated from Waconia High School in 2001, cum laude from the University of North Dakota in 2006 (Major: Psychology - emphasis in clinical science), and from the University of South Dakota School of Law in December 2009. Jolene was married in the fall of 2008 to her husband, Jimmy, and they have two children.
Jolene spent the first two and half years of her practice at another firm in Sioux Falls where she gained experience negotiating the settlement of large corporate contract disputes, as well as litigating personal injury, worker's compensation, divorce, and child custody claims. Early in 2013 Jolene made the decision to join her father-in-law, Dean, and Jimmy, in the practice of law at Nasser Law Offices. Jolene believes it is important to spend the necessary time with every client to properly understand both their legal needs and their personalized priorities in seeking legal representation.
Jolene is a very active member of the State Bar of South Dakota, South Dakota Trial Lawyers Association, Business and Professional Women, and was the 2014-15 President of the Second Circuit Women in Law group. Jolene is also very active in the community. She has volunteered for USD law school functions, Habitat for Humanity, Make-A-Wish, and Children's Inn. In Jolene's free time she enjoys horseback riding and outdoor activities, especially gardening.
