Jimmy was born and raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He graduated from O'Gorman High School in 2001, from the University of North Dakota in 2006 (Major: Computer Science; Minor: Mathematics), and from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2009. After passing the bar exam in the summer of 2009, Jimmy joined his father, Dean, in the practice of law. Jimmy and his wife Jolene were married in the fall of 2008. They have one daughter, Sairyn, who was born in October 2009.
In his free time Jimmy enjoys utilizing his computer science degree by further educating himself on modern computer programming techniques. He is a registered Apple Developer and has entrepreneured his own software company, Bucket of Files, LLC. Jimmy lives on the technological front-line because he believes it is imperative that someone who offers guidance for a living know where the world is going.
Jimmy approaches the legal world much like he does the digital one, by utilizing his analytical skill-set to break down complex situations into their basic components. This allows Jimmy to translate a client's complex legal problem into a set of instructions that helps them understand the benefits and ramifications of their decisions.

Dean Nasser

Dean is a lifetime resident of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, a 1966 graduate of Washington High School, and a 1970 graduate of the University of South Dakota (Majors: Government and History; Minor: Spanish). Dean also attended USD Law School, where he graduated in 1973. He has continuously maintained both a general law practice and a trial law practice in downtown Sioux Falls since April 1, 1974.
For the last 25 years Dean has worked side-by-side with his wife of more than 35 years, Carole. Carole is a registered pharmacist who serves as Nasser Law's office manager and Dean's legal assistant. They were joined in the practice of law by their son, Jimmy Nasser, in 2009.
Dean is the founder of Nasser Law's philosophy that if a lawyer is going to give legal advice and legal service that lawyer, when necessary, ought to be able to assert or defend that position in court. Dean prides himself on his ability to expertly represent all aspects of his clients varied legal needs.
Dean also spends a significant amount of time helping the South Dakota Legislature and Governmental Agencies draft laws that promote and preserve the interests and rights of everyday South Dakotans. Through the years Dean's mission has been to protect "the little guy" from abuse at the hands of powerful corporations and insurance companies. Odds are, if you live in South Dakota, Dean's efforts have likely had an effect on the insurance policies you buy and/or the laws your employer must follow to regulate a worker's compensation claim.
